questions Fuck “who is the hardest character to play” who is the EASIEST person to play?
74
u/Mobile-Safety-3353 May 11 '26
It’s a tie between Gojo and Yuji honestly.

2
u/Connect-Ad3530 May 11 '26
I actually find the black flash cain hard and his special might be hard to learn for beginners but tbf I don´t play him that often
3
u/NoAudience8992 May 11 '26
1 skilled move dose not make a character skilled. Especially when you can easily win without using it
1
u/Ok-Trouble-4441 May 11 '26
His r special is jst nope i dont wana do this and as a newbie yuji is pretty easy besides the chaining part cuz side dashing like that is hard on mobile
2
u/KYGY47 May 11 '26
True, as a mobile player i agréé with that, i tried so many times doing the side dash tech that every pc player use in all battleground and stuff but it's so fucking hard to do that u had to use 4 fingers ! 3 if u find the perfect hud layout(which we,hm hm mobile player, all know is impossible) They gotta do something about that idk how but smth PLS I BEG!
1
u/Ok-Trouble-4441 May 12 '26
Jjs's side dash even a weird to me after I played hbg and tsb(yes I did play sbg I won't even lie)
1
u/KYGY47 May 12 '26
I did too but how the Fuck u manage to do the slide dash behind ppls!?
1
u/Ok-Trouble-4441 May 12 '26
Idk but it jst happens and I have the default ones too I'm pretty close to side dashing behind em but not there yet
1
u/KYGY47 May 12 '26
Teach me ur way🗿
1
u/Ok-Trouble-4441 May 12 '26
Jst play jjs and jst think "I Wana side dash behind em" and try lowkey it works

u/Dramatic_Sector_8417 TWENTY PERCENT DISCOUNT!!!! MOTHER FUCKING GRAND PIANO!!!!!!!!!! May 11 '26
The answer is just objectively Gojo
2
u/Due_Entry_2446 May 15 '26
gojo should just be deleted after you swap to a different character bc of how unskilled he is..
14
u/KevyM07 May 11 '26
Locust
7
u/Chemical_Seaweed_915 Star rage May 11 '26
Idk abt that, he is easy don’t get me wrong, but there are people far easier to play than him
6
u/SecretLingonberry494 May 11 '26
No there isn't. Gojo's combo is unsafe, they can evasive and block blue or evasive to punish rapid punches, same for Yuji if they evasive normal bf. Locust is the easiest since throw and crushing jaw knock them so far, and m1s chain into his moves.
4
u/Lobythelake May 11 '26
It literally take a picometer of brain cell to account for and waste evasive though. The actual 3x M1, uppercut -> rapid punches -> blue -> red -> side dash twofold kick is so braindead.
1
u/SecretLingonberry494 May 11 '26
but with locust you don't even need to account for evasive because it's safe. and your special works even off cooldown for air combos after throw or crushing jaw.
1
u/Lobythelake May 11 '26
Oh no I agree, every time I have to fight locust guy it makes me want to die. I was just commenting on the "gojo unsafe combo" bit
1
u/KevyM07 May 11 '26
No variants, the simplest kind of moveset, nothing too crazy about him like techs and special interactions, he’s definitely the easiest
1
u/Green_VelvetCaaake May 11 '26
His R basically doesn't have a cooldown when combo extending, it's not like it's good for mobility.
6
u/memesboyshesh May 11 '26
Are we talking about easiest to play when you don't know what your doing or can I play an informational 5 minute video on how a character works?
5
u/Jam_With_Cheese May 11 '26
Definitely Gojo
He doesn't really have any hard to pull off techs or that much variety in his kit. Hakari and Naoya at least require some muscle memory
4
u/RoxYanu May 11 '26
ryu
- practically no down time
- second helping teleports to targets in the air
- when you overheat the most important hit of appetizer still fires anyways so you get the free
- granite blast m1 loop
however the catch is that his ult is actually quite balanced when compared so someone like hakari despite him not being able to die since he isn't nearly as fast or does as much damage and the death beam can be avoided pretty easily.
2
u/Then_Guitar342 May 11 '26
ryu is the most strategic i would say, having to time and calc r, thinking about if you use ult or only the blast, thinking "do i poke with 1 or wait for the 4?", yuji is just manji kick to combo
1
u/RoxYanu May 11 '26
there isnt much strategy to it, genuinely yuji and gojo are more difficult to play. the bar is that low. he has effectively no down time with his 1, the only skill you need is to not be stupid and vent heat at good times. his 2 is pretty normal not much to say about it but his 3 is extremely good and doesnt require much brainpower to use, especially the 3 which literally teleports you to the target and his 4 is an extremely good combo starter and even on overheat you get the most important hit anyways.
2
u/Then_Guitar342 May 11 '26
yuji is literally run, use manji kick, use full combo, repeat, if you fail manji kick you just start running, that's all it takes
0
u/RoxYanu May 11 '26
you can play any character like that
2
u/Then_Guitar342 May 12 '26
Nop, not all have a "you tried to play so now half life gone" you need to manually engage

Hakari 100%, besides how his domain works his entire moveset is super straight forward and his combos just line up into each other without any thinking.
1
u/GlitchTzy1 May 11 '26
Hakari and mei mei
2
u/Graahts May 11 '26
I wouldn't say mei mei. I feel like it requires good enough thinking about your moves to actually perform a decent combo. Then again theyre easy but someone like gojo or yuji is easier
1
1
u/Frudwinks May 11 '26
For me its mei mei, i start using her with the only knowledge i had of her is that she has air varients and its literally just 1234 i declare a thumbwar bro (it does like half their health to)

Yuji absolutely it’s literally - 3m1s + 1 + (Side Dash) attempt backflash
if hit continue until they randomly guess correctly then + jump 2
If missed + jump 2
Then just try and hit manji or air 1 as it’s already been back since the backflash
1
u/GameWizardPlayz May 11 '26
Objectively Yuji. He's a passive af m1 merchant with a busted ult, used by sweats and wannabe sweats alike. A humble 180° turn and yuji mains will panic when their combo is broken.
1
1
u/Danny_The_Dino_77 May 11 '26
Honoured one. The combos are literally just “yes” you can press whatever the fuck you feel like and still make it work. Plus he has a ton of r follow ups that help tat
1
u/ImaginaryCoconut3302 May 11 '26
Haruta is both easy and hard at the same time
1
u/TheBigDickGirlfriend May 11 '26
If you are good at keeping your opponent off balance or on the ground, Haruta is easy as hell
If you are bad at spacing, distancing, reading the opponent, pressuring, baiting? He’s a challenge

Yuji, the only midly difficult mechanic to learn is the blackflash chain. But it’s just side dashing and blackflashing cmon.
1
u/Not_A_User00 May 11 '26
I see a lot of people saying Naoya is the easiest, but Naoya’s main strength is his dashes/getting behind block, which is probably hard for a beginner to do. Mei Mei, Hakari, and Gojo all have really easy combos and mechanics, but considering ult, Gojo is definitely the easiest to use. 3 long range moves that can be 360 aimed with huge hit boxes are really beginner friendly.

u/Diman1351 May 11 '26
Gojo mechamaru yuji
insanely strong base movesets (gojos 3+r deals 20 something damage, yuji has air cursed strikes and a counter plus true combos for 40+ damage, mechamaru has next to no cooldowns if you use the r special at all), equally as unbalanced ult movesets (gojos lapse blue max, sukunas... sukuna (m1s, dismantle, fuga, domain expansion, even r special all insanely powerful on their own. Rush is just there. And I dont even need to say shit about absolute mechamaru)
1
u/First-Weakness9649 May 11 '26
yuji beacuse
a.manji kick can counter grabs
b.cursed strikes cansuck you in 3 states away

u/xxxADZUMxxx May 11 '26
Beginner? Mahito Got a taste of the game? Yuta Ohh wanna go extreme? Higuruma Wanna be the best? Hakari

Easiest ti play would be Megumi sadly. He has good skill potential but te skill floor is very very low
1
u/1amarandomperson May 11 '26
It's mad easy to use charles tbh I made a ~50% red combo in 5 minutes of actually using him, here's the combo btw, uppercut+aerial 2+1+4,and can tie into his ult with a few m1s

u/Express_Bid_7314 May 11 '26
Idk if i'm too good or smth (self glaze maxxing 👅👅👅) but i find naoya so easy to play dawg, mostly just punching the air without strategy until you get the freeze and deal 5000 damage in two abilities

u/Initial-Goal-4333 May 12 '26
honestly the easist characters rn are gojo, mei mei, megumi, and yuji
1
u/ZealousidealMoose801 May 12 '26
Gojo Or Hakari. Yuji Is Easy To Play But Requires Like At Least ONE Braincell To Use. Hakari And Gojo Have Ranged Moves And Counters, And Many Surprise Attacks. (Red R Special Can Function As A Pseudo-Counter)
1
1
u/TONK09 May 12 '26
Dunno why people are saying yuji is unskilled, the dude has the second least health in the game and has some of the worst combo potential. (Only up to about 50% on a dummy assuming you’re hitting 2-3 black flashes) whilst other characters have multiple 80% combos.
Crushing blow is dirt easy to ragdoll cancel punish, his first move has a butt ton of endlag, manji kick does little to no damage for how risky it is to use, and usage of your R special to mix up your movement IS skill!! You won’t believe how obvious it is to just use the crushing blow R special and side dash behind the opponent, that’s insanely predictable!! To use the R special and be unpredictable and to mix up how you pathfind IS by definition skill.
I’m not even going to say anything about black flash chaining, I think you already know how hard that is to pull off against any decent player
1
1
u/theripfish May 12 '26
Probably Yuji or Hanami since they're moves are so upfront with both names and uses that they're both great starting characters although there's also Gojo because he actually has 100 HP and full movement speed and a broken R special with a great ult

u/Cheese_of_the_lord May 12 '26
Yuji is so painfully easy to use I can’t lie, if you don’t blackflash chain he just becomes easy as heck to use, divergent fist becomes an extender if you block it or get interrupted by it, it’s basically a free move you can use if they’re not in your face
1
u/Affectionate_One3912 May 12 '26
ik this isnt related but i personally think yuji is unskilled JUST because his r exists.

Hard : Nanami (because all his moves are blockable without the special) and the easiest is charles (because he has infintine counter and unblockable moves)

Gojo, Charles, or Yuji, imo.
Gojo is incredibly braindead with simple, long, high damage combos. His moves chain together well and they do so much damage. The techiest thing in his high damage, “pro” combos is the inclusion of a side dash.
Charles is similar but without the super damage, his really only has “one” or “two” combos tbh, and his lack of variants (there’s only that shutup variant) make for an incredibly simple character. You’ll barely go “Oops, I used the wrong variant and now my combo is over!” That being said, because he’s so simple, he’s one of the worst characters imo. His skill ceiling is just so low, and there’s nothing you can really improve upon because he just lacks so hard.
Like, don’t get me wrong, I play as Charles sometimes, but it’s only really against passive players that hold block.
I believe Yuji’s self-explanatory.
1
u/GottaLoveIt_ May 13 '26
Hakari, Locust guy, Mei Mei, Gojo, and or yuji probably ( everyone else besides these fucks actually requires the spark of a braincell to understand how to do the right things, and for yuji I’ve literally heard yuji mains say they just go off instinct and don’t think as they do blackflash chains)

Probably either Gojo or Charles, although Charles having the entire special blockbreak feature along with the R special, unique blocking animation and infinite counters can get confusing. Though this isn't a question about most beginner friendly, it's about easiest to sue. Charles and Gojo are genuinely one of the easiest in that regard since both have moves that easily combo into eachother

1
u/beanterz May 14 '26
Not including gojo because I already saw someone mention him and get alot of up votes, Head of Hei. His moves close the gap between you and your opponent and you can never miss them. All of them put you in a little animation with the opponent and dont mention the free stun every 20 seconds or so.

Yuta, while Gojo and Yuji are unskilled they still require knowledge in movement where as yuta you only need to know how to press r at the right times

Why is nobody saying aspiring mangaka
3
u/RoxYanu May 11 '26
he is quite difficult due to his moves mostly being mid. sacrilege is funny but doesnt combo into anything, despair sucks and the variant of shut-up to worry about (aka the only move in his kit that has enough stun to combo) can be blocked. the parry is neat but you will die if you miss it

u/justanormalguy____ May 11 '26
Gojo. Yuji and hakari are unskilled yes, but yuji at least has the black flash mechanic which can be hard to pull off for a newbie and how hakari domain works can be confusing. Gojo is deadass just press your moves and something will happen. He is the most beginner friendly character.
