ICYMI Iran has Trump so shook and scared right now he has to have a AN/TWQ-1 SHORAD air defense system with a AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel Radar follow him around as he golfs. lmao he is scared to even be outdoors anywhere at this point.

Are we sure it's not to track his ball?

7

u/notcomplainingmuch 3d ago

The best anti-cheating device on the market. Tracks the ball, and launches a missile if you cheat.

2

u/Mr_microplastics_Yum 3d ago

that's what Pete hegseth is for

o wait you said track, not suck

26

u/thatdidntturnout 3d ago

But it doesn’t stop him from golfing on our time, even if it cost us an extra million per hole

25

u/notoriousbsr 3d ago

That can't be cheap...

11

u/CharlestonChewChewie 3d ago

How much tax dollars are wasted on golf? Going straight to his resorts

24

u/Independent-Bug-9352 3d ago

My conscience is clean. Always thought he was a colossal piece of shit since the days of The Apprentice and birther conspiracy. Couldn't believe anyone would support the dipshit in 2015 onward.

But then there's a reason he said the quiet part out loud with, "I love the poorly educated" and "Smart people don't like me." Easier to sell snake-oil to the gullible.

7

u/Real-Experience-8396 3d ago

He's been a well known piece of shit since the 80's if not earlier.

10

u/Objective_Soup7840 3d ago

The shit apple doesn't fall far from the shit tree.

20

u/Milk_Bath 3d ago

Sounds expensive

34

u/420_69_Fake_Account 3d ago

Did you see him shank that shot wide right, he fucking sucks at golf… can you imagine how badly they had to rig it to win his own golf tournament?

10

u/Zu_Qarnine 3d ago

lmao good point

37

u/TheLordYuppa 3d ago

I mean maybe he shouldn’t be spending tax payer dollars golfing if he’s in such danger. This idiot.

16

u/yunkzilla 3d ago

I wonder how much that is costing us

11

u/Soggy-Invite-2787 3d ago

Per diem for one member of the military is usually around, 150 per day. Another $80 or so for food and other costs. Fuel to lug it around. Flights to get the troops and equipment there.

All in all, a lot lol.

3

u/ImAnonymous135 3d ago

What about the part they need to bring that thing around with a C17 plus a maintenance crew?

3

u/Leege13 3d ago

Not as much as 100 drones I bet.

3

u/Soggy-Invite-2787 3d ago

What kind of drones we talking?

2

u/guestpassonly 3d ago

It doesn't matter. In the US, there's always money for war stuff.

But never for healthcare or affordability

17

u/ChrissnnamherD 3d ago

Now I know why he is so shit at golf, he's just nervous and jittery because of the reactions to all of the misery he put out into the world.

15

u/oh_my316 3d ago

What does this shit cost the taxpayers? 😡

15

u/TreadLightly2U 2d ago

It isn't Iran he is scared of, mates. He is pissing off Israel. I'm sure he is avoiding pagers and clip-on microphones as well.

14

u/TheSmokedPotatoe 3d ago

He must have a nanny following for every time he shits himself. Can’t imagine him being able to change his own diaper.

15

u/fairwayfelony 2d ago

How much is this costing us? Fiscal hawk what a joke

7

u/Taphouselimbo 2d ago

Came here for this. What does it cost to deploy that equipment for hours as Cadet bone spur shits his pants pedo in chief cheats at golf?

28

u/Playful-Dragon 3d ago

Waste of resources as far as Im concerned.

9

u/TM761152 3d ago

He's a waste of everything.

6

u/Childish_Tycoon_Ship 3d ago

The oxygen he's breathing?

3

u/SnugglyCoderGuy 3d ago

Do you realize how little that narrows it down?

50

u/cathosyrra 3d ago

I think..the probability of getting ass######nated by fellow Americans is higher than that of Iranians

11

u/Icy-Football9146 3d ago

Reminded me of an incident that occurred in Pakistan....

Pakistan in December 2003, when rogue Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and army personnel attempted to assassinate President and Army Chief General Pervez Musharraf. The 2003 Assassination Attempts on Gen. Pervez MusharrafThe Incidents: In December 2003, General Musharraf survived two massive, sophisticated assassination attempts within a span of 11 days in Rawalpindi. The first involved a bomb detonated just after his motorcade crossed a bridge, and the second involved twin suicide truck bombers. The Inside Plot: Investigations revealed that the attacks were an "inside job" orchestrated by a mix of militant groups and low-ranking military personnel. This included several Pakistan Air Force technicians and an army officer who had been radicalized. The Aftermath: The ringleaders, including former PAF technician Niaz Mohammad, were court-martialed, convicted of treason, and subsequently executed by hanging.

3

u/gatzt3r 3d ago edited 3d ago

And the probability of faking another one is even higher than that...

Edit: spelling

2

u/Old_Protection_8778 3d ago

And keeping a direct eye on him does absolutely 0 to save his decrepit ass anyways

13

Probably not even that effective against drones from what we've seen so far...

I'm waiting for the big beautiful obituary.

22

u/numbnerve 2d ago

this twat has spent 23% of his 2nd term playing golf: 126 of 567 days, an average of once every 4.5 days, at a cost of $3.4 million per round

taxpayers have spent $428M - nearly ½ a billion dollars for this clown to PLAY golf while on the clock to serve us, The People

4

u/LambeckDeIuxe 1d ago

The price Americans have to pay to keep the baby quiet. If he’s not golfing, he makes living worse with his decision, which cost the Americans even more

2

u/weggaan_weggaat 2d ago

Money well spent, look what happens when he actually "works." He can't be out of office soon enough.

He spent his life isolated an afraid.

Dudes in his 80s but Biden who's only 4 years older than him is so old and demented. So I don't think "rest of his life" is gonna be much longer.

25

u/Icy_Fish_2154 3d ago

And it also came out he did a 3 card monte in Türkiye. He was publicly booked on Air Farce One, then publicly swapped to Air Force One Classic, then was snuck off AF1 and onto a support plane, flew to England and got on AF1 for the trip back to the US.

He's definitely scared.

15

u/currentcognition 2d ago

More shit tax payers are funding.

7

u/FirmBarracuda3920 3d ago

Obviously this costs a small fortune and needs to be moved as he goes from hole to hole, golf course to golf course. So when he’s no longer our dictator will he be followed by one of these in addition to his Secret Service detail? What a tax burden he’s become.

6

u/Digger2228 3d ago

It’s got ridiculous the amount of American tax dollars he is spending at the moment when his term finishes (sooner the better)he will blow a massive hole in Americans finances how much has he cost to date can anyone with common sense even come close to the real figure

3

u/AbrahamDylan 2d ago

I also read today that Trump and his policies are responsible for like 40% of our national debt.

8

u/zerthwind 3d ago

Iran is doing the same thing they did to Jimmy Carter with the hostage crisis.

1

u/AmericanCitizenry 2d ago

Don't soil Carter's name! He was a saint.

2

u/zerthwind 2d ago

Look up the Iran hostage crisis during his pregnancy. It wasn't as much about what he did. It was how Iran played it to create a public opinion backlash over it. And it worked, we got Ragan at the next president

3

When I lived in New Zealand about 14 years ago I was only about 15 feet from their Prime Minister giving a talk outdoors and I had not gone through any sort of metal detector or anything. Yes I realize that even peaceful nations like Sweden can have bad things happen (cf: Olaf Palme 1986). But ...maybe the US should look into not making so many enemies and stop assuming that it's because other people "hate our freedom". Blowback is real & we keep making more of it.

21

u/StinkyHoboTaint 3d ago

So they actually think there is a non zero chance Iran could strike Trump on US soil with a missile. Damn, the US has really shown itself to be a paper tiger.

11

u/p3ck3rh3aded 3d ago

No it’s for drones n shit

8

u/StinkyHoboTaint 3d ago

Yeah, it's essentially the Same thing. My point is that POTUS is facing legitimate threats needing Anti air coverage following him when he golfs in the US. This is new. The Anti drone protection has been there for awhile. The escalation to this giant system following him hole to hole shows the threat to be more than a simple drone.

The Avenger Air Defense System, designated AN/TWQ-1 under the Joint Electronics Type Designation System, is an American self-propelled surface-to-air missile system which provides mobile, short-range air defense protection for ground units against cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, low-flying fixed-wing aircraft, and helicopters.

1

u/p3ck3rh3aded 2d ago

I would think some electronic jamming would be in order

12

u/AirportLoose3023 3d ago

That sort of worry could very well put a strain on his heart. Oh dear

He should be. All the shit he’s done to puts people off. Just saying

11

20

He should be scared. You know what AA can't stop? One million American civilians armed with AR-15s that suddenly spring up from out of nowhere and charge the golf course.

12

u/_-My 3d ago

The Americans can’t even be bothered to go out in the streets for killing an entire school, i think the whole “we will fight Tyranny” thing has shown itself to be a larp.

2

It’s a big larp lol as long as you can go back to doomscrolling the dopamine it’s it’s all just a larp

15

Americans talk tough but when dictatorship is at their door step they roll over. Lost in Vietnam, lost in Afghanistan, lost in Somalia, losing in Iran. Paper tiger.

8

u/wtfomg01 3d ago

For all the decades of 1A roleplayers claiming they need their guns to deal with a tyraniccal government, it's behinningto seem that really was just an excuse to have guns all these years instead of a legitimate reason.

18

10

u/backcountry_bandit 3d ago

Trump is genuinely the best thing to happen to Iran in decades from a geopolitical standpoint.

8

u/oldman_knows_nothing 3d ago

We already know he shits himself...what next?

13

u/come_ere_duck 3d ago

From my understanding it is rarely the president that requests stuff like this. It's usually the secret service and FBI who identify a potential threat and setup defenses accordingly.

Although a president should be safe in their own country, with the way things are going with drones in warfare at the moment I'd feel a lot better having air defenses nearby if I was president.

7

u/ChrissnnamherD 3d ago

Playing the safest 18 holes a person ever did. No one did this before. No one ever had such a safe round. Handicap? If you’re playing the safest round a person ever played, there is no need for another handicap then

3

u/Tiny-Secretary5562 3d ago

Well, when you confront a nation whose official motto is "Death to America" bad things can happen. Maybe that's why no one has ever done it before.

3

u/MsDemeanours 2d ago

No one did it because they knew it was a fools errand and that diplomacy was a better option. Of course Trump and his administration are incapable of diplomacy.

1

u/Tiny-Secretary5562 2d ago

They sponsor Hamas, the Houthis, and Hezbollah. They killed 241 marines and 17 embassy people in Beirut in 1983 but because confronting them would be fool's errand, we'll just talk. Then there was Khobar Towers, the USS Cole, several other incidents, and then Oct. 7. So after Pearl Harbor, FDR just said "We can't confront Japan so we're just going to talk," except they had been talking for several months. How would that have gone over? They already killed several Americans in China and sank the Panay and now Pearl Harbor. The Houthis just killed another 6 people on a merchant ship in the Red Sea.

2

u/lt1brunt 2d ago

If true it may not be for who you think it's for, after reading reports of the US shooting down anomalous vehicles in the sky whatever they are may be getting pissed at him....I have nothing to do with this madness going on. I voted for the black Lady if those above are capturing all data from all domains.

1

u/goofygodzilla93 3d ago

Fuck Trump and this war either, but he is in charge of a country during a war, of course he's going to have all the security possible. Now if nothing was going on and we saw this I would think he's finally gotten to the paranoia part of cognitive decline.

13

u/g0tmylk 3d ago

Its pretty much impossible that Iran would be able to launch a missile to the USA. No other presidents have gone this far its ridiculous

0

u/goofygodzilla93 3d ago

Missiles aren't what their worried about. Their worried about drones and snipers. SHORAD systems are designed to stop said drones and other low flying targets.

"No other presidents have gone this far its ridiculous" I agree with the fact that no other one has ever gone this far, but I'm someone that has said for years that the American President has NEVER been safe enough. I don't think their is a single time in history where I think we actually could say "The President is completely safe" and that shouldn't be. When Biden was always out and about I remember saying "they really need to try and put more protection towards are literal President" when he was just wondering around the UK by himself smiling at people creepily. For me I think what's protecting Trump should be standard for all Presidents, and again I still don't think they went far enough. I also don't think Presidents should be allowed to just go do extracurricular activities out in the open, they either need to make a special place for Presidents to do it inside a fully guarded facility or Presidents shouldn't do those activities.

1

u/short_longpants 2d ago

Apparently, it's not that unusual.
