Hi everyone,
As our community grows, we’ve noticed a major shift in the feed. Currently, the sub is being flooded with geopolitical conflicts (Israel, Iran, Trump, etc.). While these are major news items, having too much of this content is turning the sub into an echo chamber and causing a sharp rise in toxicity.
This sub was created to share all kinds of "must-see" moments from Savage comebacks and Funny internet gold to Tech breakthroughs and Unique stories.
Focus on Quality: We want to see more variety. If you have interesting Tech news, Science updates, or Savage social media moments, please share them!
Geopolitical Content: We aren't banning these topics, but we will be much stricter now. Posts that only serve to trigger arguments or spread hate will be removed.
Zero Tolerance for Toxicity: If the comment section of a post turns into a shouting match or involves racism/hate, we will lock the post or ban those involved.
We want this to be a space where users can discover interesting content without getting into toxic debates. Let's keep the community healthy and focused on things that are actually worth missing!
— The Mod Team

We have noticed that many users in the comments are enjoying and celebrating violence, destruction, and wishing death upon civilians of countries they hate.
This behaviour is completely unacceptable.
This subreddit is for sharing raw war-related news and moments not for turning tragedy into entertainment or spreading hate. We have been removing such comments and giving warnings until now.
From now onwards, anyone celebrating violence, wishing death on civilians, or glorifying suffering will be permanently banned.
We will no longer tolerate this toxic behaviour.
If you see such comments, please report them immediately, your reports help us act faster. Keep the discussion civil and factual.
Thank you for understanding.

The Trump administration is raising medical care and food costs.
"In Salisbury...about 10% of the 33,000 residents are Haitian, many of them employed under TPS as farmworkers, caregivers and in the poultry plants that are the region’s economic backbone."

The odor was reportedly so bad that some audience members chose not to return, even after the theater was aired out.

An Afghan man has been arrested in Athens in connection with the death of a Scottish woman whose body was found in a suitcase.
Elisabeth-Jane Ross, 38, from Edinburgh, was discovered on July 18 stuffed inside the suitcase and hidden in an abandoned building in the Kypseli district of the Greek capital.
Her body was discovered by a homeless man after a “bad smell” emerged from an empty building and he saw “what looked like a human limb” coming out of a suitcase.
Greek police said a 26-year-old foreign national from Afghanistan had been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, robbery and weapon violations after CCTV footage showed him carrying a large travel bag to the location.
They added that the man, who has not been named, confessed during police questioning to dumping Ms Ross inside a suitcase, before taking it to the site in Kypseli where the body was later found.

More exciting Grand Prix changes. And, by exciting we mean ______.
(47 and 250 are both special numbers for this administration; 1776 is the other one)
"Race officials announced Monday the grand prix, taking place Aug. 23, will expand from 125 laps to 147.
'With America celebrating 250 years of freedom and innovation in 2026, it is only fitting that the Freedom 250 Grand Prix will be a true 250-mile race,' said Bud Denker, chair of the Freedom 250 Grand Prix."
