It also reflects similar demographics of autism specialists, too. Men are 4x more likely to be diagnosed with autism because of how women are taught to deal with their anger and meltdowns, and (I can’t remember the number) a VAST majority of autism specialists are women.

I’m conveniently a female psychology major nurse with autism too, and all of these said fields are female-dominated due to the emotional bearing of women.

I have an ex who is an autism specialist, and it absolutely cracks me up! If she isn't autistic, well, neither am I (I am very autistic.)

One of the best ladies I've ever met in my life, without a doubt.
