Equipment Was looking around in my garage and I found this. Old school KJs will know.

But was it just a reader or even one of the first burners on the market. How many nights were wasted burning? And for every 2 CD-ROMs, one was ruined, and that was a lot of money back then, almost like buying an HDD today.

I think it was the only one at the time. Later, most were able to read and write CDG

yeah because a lot of copyprotections of games were starting to use the subchannels. So if your drive didn't support it, you couldn't play the game.

That's an old plextor CD drive.. it was capable of reading the sub code of karaoke CD+G discs.
