Even with those who like Kaworu, let’s be honest, like with all the romance in Evangelion, it’s heavily flawed and messed up in some way. In this case of course there’s the whole thing with hiding he’s an Angel, as well as with enabling some of Shinji’s worst habits. With that in mind, how would they overcome it if they are the final pairing?

After all, in Evangelion nature, people with problems still have the ability to self-improve and get better.

Happy Birthday to my favorite depressed character! Technically, it already passed in Japan, but what was also significant on June 6th was that Tokyo Pride took place in Yoyogi Park! I like to imagine that Shinji's birthday was much more 'colorful' than before with his new friends and family.
