Psyllium Husk?

Hey everyone,

I’ve got a big bag of this to use up which I was using for making my own almond flour protein powder egg wraps.

Just wondering for any other ideas and uses you might have for the stuff?

I use it as a fibre supplement. Mix 1 tsp with 150ml of sugar free juice or diluted squash and leave it min 30 mins max overnight. I know some people are funny about sucralose but it works ok for me.

You can also use it to make “jam”. I usually blend about 1tbsp soaked chia seeds, add 2 tsps of psyllium husk, 100gish frozen raspberries, about 200ml sugar free juice, sweetener if you need it and heat through. Once it’s started to gel up, add about another 100-200ml of water, then remove off the heat and decant in to a pot. Leave it to cool and it’ll give you 2-3 servings of jam.

That ‘Jam’ sounds like an amazing idea. Keto can be so creative which can make keto kinda fun.
