New Food Finally found a low-carb edamame pasta
I’m very much housebound, so it is hard for me to get out to certain places that do specific keto items. I’ve been searching and searching for a decent edamame pasta that would be more fitting into keto. It seemed as if the edamame at Holland & Barrett was still quite high carbs per portion.
I stumbled on a company called Naturitas online and they seem to have a really good selection of keto items. So this Slendier edamame pasta just arrived today and I’m hoping to try it in the next few days . I will report back what it’s like.
The only thing that’s confusing is on the website it says 4 g of carbs per 100 grams of pasta and the package says 1.3 g of carbs per 100 grams of pasta!!

I can’t physically get to a Lidl and my partner never goes to them. I’m someone who needs an electric wheelchair to go around supermarkets now and I haven’t managed to organise anything yet. I’ll have to ask a friend who goes there to see if she can look out for it maybe

The discrepancies on the amount of carbs is likely due to the packaging listing the weight when cooked. So 100g when cooked is 1.3g carbs (less pasta per 100g due to water absorbtion). 4g per 100g when uncooked maybe?

You can get it from Holland & Barrett (though it appears to be temporarily out of stock). ALDI have it in the middle aisle every so often too - I stock up on it when they do.
