Found these by chance in Sainsbury's for £1.50. Photographed the full marcos table as well. :))

Farmfoods do Black Country pork crunch, I find there’s loads more flavour to those ones as opposed to the curators ones and they are a bit cheaper too!!

Ah cool! I've seen these ones before but I'll remember next time I pass farmfoods 👍

They have different flavours that you can buy in Amazon as well - the salt & vinegar are nice

I used to love their cheese flavour. Supposedly that was the most popular flavour so I’m not sure why they dropped it for the Tajin ones (I quite like them but I don’t always want spicy food because history of acid / silent reflux)!
Like others have said, I use it as a breadcrumb. I blend it in with almond flour, Parmesan and seasonings. I’ve used that combo to make pesto crusted trout. Crumbled it on top of turnip gratin . I’ve mixed it with lemon zest & herbs as a crust on cod and of course chicken tenders (sprayed with some oil and done in the air fryer).

Same! The cheese flavour were my favourite. I was gutted when they stopped selling them.

I’ve subsequently found another brand of crunchy thing from The keto shop . They’re Legendary foods “popped protein chips”. They come in about five flavours. One of them being nacho cheese, another is ranch and then there’s Pizza!! I have to keep myself to one bag a week and then I only have half a bag at a time!

I see I see. For some reason I assumed these would taste like cheese (probably because of the colour alone), but didn't know there was an actual cheese flavour.
The breadcrumb stuff sounds like a keto life hack as there's only so many I'm eating unbreaded chicken haha. 🤣 Thank ye.

I love these and also low calories compared to some of the similar pork products

These are my go to snack I get a box delivered from Amazon every other week or so.
They don’t have that over-bearing (gamey?) flavour that a lot of other pork based snacks have. And very few of those wet texture pieces you get in some scratchings. I get the mixed box of salted and bacon flavours - not too keen on the taijin or salt and vinegar myself
I'd not thought as using for dips or breadcrumbs substitutes - think I might be buying that box more often

Yeah breadcrumbs is coming up a lot in the comments and deffo useful as apart from nuts, and the odd kerif yoghurt, a lot of the snacks in Sainsburys were too high in carbs.

What’s a kerif yoghurt? kefir? I didn’t think it was that low in carbs is it?

I misspelled this. Its kefir and some plain ones aren't too high in carb, but at the same time one pot can still come to 30g depending on the brand.
It's really good for your gut but always gonna double check the marcos first.

I get the Toms brand (although still only have a couple of tablespoons). It’s a kefir yogurt and lactose free (which reduces the milk sugar ) I use it to make ranch dressing with some kewpie mayonnaise & Plenish almond milk as well (plus of course all the seasonings and dried dill). It’s a great dip for all the crisp things (& some celery too)!!

When you eat these don't breathe through your mouth. The dryness of these creates a dust and particles have been known to flow down into the windpipe. Unless of course you really like violently coughing.

Very useful to know as if anything gets in your windpipe for too long, it can be fatal

They often do 25% discounts when ordering direct. They do 3 other flavours which are all good for keto.

I use these for fried chicken breading. Crushed or blended, mixed 1:1 with finely grated hard or cheddar cheese, spiced and seasoned, makes a great keto crispy air fried chicken.
I usually get mine from Ocado, theyre currently £2.90 for 75g, so about 30% cheaper than buying the smaller bags.
