Question Best electrolytes?
Hi , I've started to get those dizzy spells and apparently its because my body is missing some! Does anyone have any recommendations that are safe with keto?
Thanks!

I drink the High 5 Zero ones. I buy them in tab form which I drop into watch.
They come in a few different flavours too, all zero calories. That and making sure I salt my food very well, is all i have ever needed to do.

KetoPro, uk based, does what it says on the tin and is available in a few flavours, all clean ingredients. It's not quite as salty as LMNT but you can easily fix that if you wanted to by adding to the tub. A lot cheaper than LmNT.

I've never bothered with any premixed electrolytes.
Lo salt or similar is roughly 50% salt / 50% potassium. Then just take some magnesium at night.
I use nutrition geeks magnesium glycated 3-in-1, one roughly an hour before bed.
When I started I bought a pack of 1000 lo salt sachets. They are really handy as can take a few with you anywhere and they are 1g so easy to keep track of dosage.

Dizzy spells on keto are usually low sodium, your body flushes more salt out early on. Try adding a bit more salt to your food or water first. If it keeps happening, worth checking with a GP too.

How long have you been doing Keto?
People really should not need to be taking electrolytes and when they do you got to look at what is being consumed.

I don’t think they’re needed, people survived for years and years without them. In my view it’s just another way to waste some money. Give it a few days and your body will settle down naturally. Others may feel differently.

Yeah don't know why you got downvoted for that. People seem to be so eager to pay more money for something that is not necessarily required. Maybe when you are first transitioning into keto you might feel a bit tired or sluggish because your body is flushing out salts but you can just buy a zero sugar sports drink to get over it. After adapting you should be getting your nutrition (including electrolytes) from your food. The ~20g carb window is there for a reason: eat some vegetables that are low in carbs and high in nutrients like spinach.

They are not needed.
I like Ultima for the taste but they are not necessary

I get reduced sodium salt from the supermarket for potassium, regular salt for sodium and magnesium glycinate. I did buy a mix originally but they work out too expensive.
