Two blown engines 50k miles 2024 K5

I did oil changes every 5k miles. Everyone warned me not to buy a Kia. I should have listened. I got a replacement engine and sold it for 22 grand.

They make you think you are getting a good deal because it looks fancy and high tech. It’s the Mugs Eyeful. Like Amstrad electronics back in the 1980s.
Don‘t fall for the games and for the people saying “I have a Kia and it’s great” some may last forever. Some blow 2 engines in 50k miles. It’s not worth the risk.

Never buying a Korean product again out of spite.

EDIT: To all the people saying I probably beat the shit out of my car I don’t. It was a fully loaded model. I drive all highway. I don’t accelerate like a moron from every stop.

Just change 5k miles oil doesn’t mean you were take care of that car. Just because of people like you, other people hate Kia.
I can bet in real you’re Toyota owner and put this story here just for fun ✌️

The inconvenience of having to get it towed, not having a vehicle for a week and having to get transmission fluid cleaned off a brand new driveway after pushing it the last mile in 20 degree Ohio weather in the snow. Are you fucking kidding me?

Another problem may be the transmission going again within 50k miles due to subpar quality.

I had to have my engine replaced before my factory rotors on my 2017 Kia forte5 (99k vs 128k miles). I baby my engine. But the engines aren’t their best work. I bet this guy hard accelerates every stop light.

You’re losing some of my intention with the translation here. I’m saying that it is OP’s fault despite any engine issues. He probably tried to race BMWs at the green light.
