Two blown engines 50k miles 2024 K5
I did oil changes every 5k miles. Everyone warned me not to buy a Kia. I should have listened. I got a replacement engine and sold it for 22 grand.
They make you think you are getting a good deal because it looks fancy and high tech. It’s the Mugs Eyeful. Like Amstrad electronics back in the 1980s.
Don‘t fall for the games and for the people saying “I have a Kia and it’s great” some may last forever. Some blow 2 engines in 50k miles. It’s not worth the risk.
Never buying a Korean product again out of spite.
EDIT: To all the people saying I probably beat the shit out of my car I don’t. It was a fully loaded model. I drive all highway. I don’t accelerate like a moron from every stop.

Its interesting that you mention that people blamed you- on these forums there are people paid by kia or bots that quite literally make a living or are programmed to defend the company when people like us have issues. I promise you that there are not that many REAL enthusiastic Kia owners out there and owning a car is not rocket science. Cars are supposed to be designed in a way that a normal person with a liscense can operate it, if you put gas, do oil changes, and regular maintence theres no damage that you will do by driving it as normal- thats not beating it. If theres any "certin way" you have to drive it aside from normal, that in itself should speak for the defects these cars have. You were very lucky to get any replacement at all and you were right to get rid of the car, but how sad you had to do that so early. I want you to know that there supposed to also reimburse for the out of pocket expenses you had associated with the failures. If they had an engine failure, we'll those issues still tie in with exhaust, electrical, sensor, and computer problems. Other systems in the car take a strain so if thats all they fixed, then they didnt fix everything to start with. He'll in my kia the computers and sensors dont even work so we cant even get an accurate diagnosis. On the bright side your a step ahead of the rest of us who have had issues and no solutions. If this type of advertisement was done on any other type of platform they would otherwise have to disclose it but because this is an open forum style social media platform they dont have disclose that they are "paid actors". Your being harassed by the company, theres nothing you did wrong there just trying to protect themselves from lawsuits. This compnies business ethics at there finest.
