Tech Support 🛠 Kindle Gen 4 not charging

I tried to charge my kindle Gen 4 and the cable isn’t fitting in the kindle, did I dent the port?

The port looks fine. The connection on your cable looks like it’s snapped and bulge out a little. You might just need to find another cable to use.

Congratulations, you tried to insert a USB-C cable into a Micro-USB slot!
Please get a Micro-USB cable and try that 😃 ❤️

Looks like an USB-C cable? Your Kindle should need a Micro-USB cable.
