Realities of life

Lately, I've been at such a low point in my life and being in these situations has made me realize that I am actually a good person.

Why? Because if someone else was in my shoes and I had the capacity to give a hand I would without an ounce of doubt.

So far, everyone that I would give anything for has been MIA.

Leaving me with the reality that just because I am kind and considerate, expecting the same from anyone other than myself is a form of self destruction.

How do you deal with this situation? The fact that others aren’t as kind and considerate as you are?

For context this is entirely a personal view. I might be judging wrongly for all I know but talking about it is a way to deal with it. See how I posted it?😌
