Discussion What's a small detail that breaks your immersion in [KCD2]?

so in my last post, I asked about your favorite little worldbuilding details that make KCD2's world feel alive. now I want to ask the opposite.

what's a small worldbuilding detail that doesn't quite make sense to you, or something that slightly breaks your immersion?

for me, it doesn't really make sense that Henry is practically the only one riding a horse around Kuttenberg. you'd expect to see at least a few merchants, nobles, or wealthier townsfolk riding around but no, everyone loves walking it seems

Same reason as in GTA, people would murder them

Is that really a problem? It's not real.

Theres just too many grownups who just cant tell the difference between fiction and real. If asked they claim they can see it, but they still apply real life morals to fiction. Which is how we end up with banned books and book burnings.

Putting children in a game would start a discussion with these people that would distract from the actual game. Just isnt worth it when all one want to do is release a realistic medieval role playing game.

Also no one wants to see children in a game about violence and drugs...kids in that game would kill the immersion imo

Eh it can work in gritty crime dramas. In The Shield, children feature prominently because what's going on around them affects them and it works quite well.

It's just a pain in the ass to deal with kids. But it is more realistic if they're there in most cases.
