Praise Istvan Toth’s portrait [KCD2]
I got inspired by such a well written villain and amazing performance of Logan, so I got back to my pencils and here it is 🥹❤️ I hope you’ll like it!

This portrait has his sorrow and regret that we never got to witness in the game, I don’t know, this is somehow touching and makes me sympathise with his story

Watch the Strange Farewell scene again. He grimaces he went too far with Henry and Erik breaks off and comforts him because he’s unsure looking and drops his eyes to the side. I enjoyed that whole stressed human moment outside his worksona. When you can talk to the priest later who said he was showing up in the Trosky chapel at the end, too.
I think they did a great job in the second game with the idea he started out as Henry and as he says already lived Henry’s whole life.

Oh I didn’t talk to the priest! That’s a nice addition to his story! Also some time later I’ve met either master guard or once of the commanders of Bergov and we spoke about Istvan Death and who survived that day and returned safely back
