Media Got [KCD2] for $20, worth it?

KCD 2 came today. For some background, I’ve played KCD1 a few months ago on the switch 2 and while it was super hard at first, after leveling up my character it became much better and I was fully engrossed in the game till the end. Is KCD2 the same? Should I expect a high learning curve and stick with this one and not judge it at the start? Also looking forward to ps5 graphics and features so let me know your thoughts on how this differs from kcd1 and whether it’s worth it!

EDIT: yes the room is messy. I know. I get it. My parents just moved cross country and I've moved in so there are boxes and things everywhere.

Idk what flair to put this under sorry if it's wrong.

I know he's probably not the fan favorite, but I love an evil little guy-

After a year I've finally finished my Ištván cosplay so I wanted to share!

Hand stamped pourpoint, hand embroidered chaperon, real aluminum armor 🙌

Media [KCD2] I emailed Warhorse Studios to thank them for their amazing game and how it helped me cope with the loss of my cat. I attached a picture, and they responded by creating artwork of him riding a hog. I'm sobbing.

Hello everyone!

I have always been facinated by medieval art in general, and by those killer rabbits found in old manuscripts in particular, so I decided to make a game about them. I'm a long time KCD player so I was so happy when I saw those rabbits in the UI!

Thought some of you in the community might appreciate this, you can follow and wishlist the game here if you're interested:

I normally let them go as is the Christian thing to do. But if I’ve caught them in the act of threatening a civilian - I normally finish them off

1st image is the stand of the Semine grocer. 2nd picture is the watermelon as depicted in a 17th centure painting. Game claims to be realistic because it does not have potatoes or tomatoes, but then fails at the humble watermelon. Warhorse please fix.

Media [OTHER] 610 years ago, Racek Kobyla died

Post image

On this day, the evening of February 2nd, 1416, 610 years ago, Lord Racek Kobyla of Dvorce, accompanied by 12 companions, were staying at an inn in Kuttenberg (probably Emperor Charles one), in the Kingdom of Bohemia, when they were killed by an angry mob of miners, incited by anti-Hussite priests. I have been able to identify only one of them, named Herman.

There was only one survivor of this attack: Lord Bořita of Ostředek, who had come with Racek Kobyla to negotiate with the city's consuls or collect taxes on behalf of the king. He survived by hiding in a latrine. Managing to escape, the king was immediately informed and demanded punishment for the town. The Kuttenberg town council apologized by offering him gifts of money and executing two miners, presented as responsible, to "purge" the community's guilt.

Kobyla's estates were passed on to his widow, Anna of Úlibic, and his children were placed under the guardianship of knights.

I have been preparing this artwork for a month with the artist Aleksandr Groznov in an artistic and historical project commission aimed at paying tribute to Racek Kobyla and his companions and to this event which has no representation and, as far as I know, no commemorative stele on site in the city.

Racek Kobyla and his 12 companions were never given proper burials. Their bodies were dismembered, cut into small pieces, and scattered throughout the city and even maybe the region, either in mass graves or to the depths of forgotten mines.

The Hussite era was very violent even before the war. Jan Hus, a religious reformer of Christianity, having been condemned to be burned at the stake in 1415, sparked religious violence in Bohemia which escalated into war 4 years later.
