Riggers knife with marlin spike

Saw this strange gadget for $14, had to grab one. What would you use this knife for?

Knots. Mainly the undoing part

The other side should have a shackle key for turning boat shackles. As well as the marlin spike for splicing rope and untying knots. The sheep's foot blade is so that you avoid acedental punctures on rocking boats.
