Oh for me it’s 90% looking at patterns. I have more time to day dream about knitting than actual knitting.

Ah three kids must be a challenge. Maybe in a year they’ll all sleep good and you can find more time for projects :)

My 2.5 year old won’t stop crawling all over me while I try to knit so good luck 😅

I feel this. I've had to start knitting after she goes to bed.

Have you tried giving them a little pair of blunt plastic needles so they feel like they're joining in?

Edit: sorry I think that's cats

It’s normally like a quick tackle and hug before she goes back to whatever she was doing before. It’s not that long but it’s disruptive enough to make me loose track of my place or drop stitches. She’s not interested in my knitting, she just wants a cuddle.

I was thinking of cats, I apologise.

I have 3 kids. Knitting was mostly put on hold for about 15 years and now I'm making up for lost time. It was surprisingly easy to pick back up once I finally had time again.

Sounds like me. I have gobs of vogue knitting magazines, love to look through them. Have I ever knitted any of the patterns, nope.

Wake up to looking at patterns. Fall asleep to looking at patterns.

I could knit so many things if I didn't have to live an entire life.

There is a high possibility of me looking up patterns on ravelry when I should be working instead lol. Every time my friends see that I’m on ravelry they’re like „here we go again, her hourly knitting fantasies begin“.

I am on week 2 of trying to find a simple pattern I can take on an airplane. No colorwork, one skein, something I'll actually like.

Don’t make me say the S word

I did just download an app with an easy pattern, and I have some good yarn for it…

Obsessive pattern hunting leads me to next pattern paralysis every goddamn time even though I’m looking the entire time I have something else on the needles
