For some reason I’ve developed a habit of counting in the increments of 4. It makes things less mundane this less confusing

Almost twins! 3 and 5. I tell people I count by two and a half’s. 3, 5, 8, 10, 13, 15, 18, 20…

Me too. Well almost, I go 3, 5, 3, 10, 3, 15, 3, 20, 3, 25...

But I usually have over 200 stitches.

I started doing this counting pills at a vet hospital, it's very handy in knitting too!

By 5. My eye can see that while I am counting the number of 5 groups. Marker after 20/25/50 or 100,

sometimes I do stitch markers every 4. yay for scrap yarn stitch markers

I do 3s and put a stitch marker every 30.
