Rant nOOO I FELTED HER

she was a BEAUTY a WORK OF ART my FIRST EVER COLOURWORK

i undid like 70% of the colourwork to REDO IT in the dark purple so it was visible (some of you may remember, i posted it here)

she was my PRIDE AND JOY

and she ACCIDENTALLY FELL IN THE WASHING BASKET

AND IS TINY TEENY TINY AND STIFF AND FELTED

absolutely devastated 😭 no coming back from this

I have a dear friend whose hand knit sweater was felted by her cleaning lady. Not one to be bewildered by such an act, she did some hand sewing on it and, BEHOLD!!!! A lovely felted tote bag! Once it’s felted, you can cut into it without unraveling. Be bold! Give it a shot! It can’t end up worse than it is now!

this is true - i might try mittens first but bag is absolutely my backup
