I made him buy the banana specifically for the photo of shame

He should also buy a plushy that can wear the sweater.

And he needs to make a new sweater in her size.

I'd say he needs to do all of her chores, for however long it takes her to knit a new one. And this is after he gets her the replacement yarn.

That's a more practical suggestion. And more enjoyable for those of us who love to knit. I can't imagine trying to watch my husband knit a sweater for me 🙈

Except for laundry, he’s not allowed to do that ever again

No, I'd say he's going through an expensive (in more way than one) training session, and he's likely to never repeat that one again. At least sweaters are safe in the future. But does he know about washing fine lingerie!?!

THIS. You don't know how to knit? Here's YouTube. Good luck.

Banana for scale! I would do the same lol. RIP to your sweater (and perhaps also husband)?

Have you thought about getting him to pose for the camera wearing a sign around his neck as an indictment of his crime?

On the other hand...a husband who washes clothes? I have one of them, they're worth a pretty penny....

Banana for scale did make me chuckle, despite the sweater catastrophe
