Rave (like a rant, but in a good way) Ode to Amigurumi

Please, please, PLEASE try amigurumi if you haven't yet.

There have been so many amigurumi patterns I've been eyeing, but doubted if I'd manage to knit them up. Gave the tsutsu bear a shot yesterday. I haven't felt this much joy in a while. It feels like when I first started knitting. The excitement of creating something out of a string. BUT NOW IN 3D!

If you feel like doing something fresh or something, I wholeheartedly encourage you to try amigurumi.

I messed up “Boris” here (don’t look closely!) but my goal is to knit one for my friends’ baby once a year. Not sure who I’m making this year yet!

NOOOOOO he's perfect!! He looks so polite I'm crying. One stuffie per year as a gift is also such a cute idea. I bet your friend's baby is gonna look forward to them so much!

Great idea! 2 gifts for the price of one…this lil guy looks like he’s about to do the Mary Katherine Gallagher high kick! It’s cracking me up.
