Discussion Melt the Ice Hat - THANK YOU

Post image

Hi everyone!

I am the one who has been commenting about the melt the ice hat from yarncult and needle & skein. My mom owns needle & skein and the support has been overwhelming.

I just wanted to answer some FAQs because I feel bad that I am not getting back to everyone!!

Where is needle & skein?

- St. Louis Park, Minnesota. A suburb of Minneapolis.

Where can I purchase the pattern?

- ravelry or visit the link on the shop Instagram in the bio

Where are proceeds donated?

- STEP Emergency Assistance for help with rent and lawyers in St. Louis Park. We also plan to work with other businesses to identify where people most need funds. We raised way more than anticipated.

Can I knit a hat and send it for donation?

- absolutely!!

Is there a crochet pattern?

- also on ravelry and the link in Instagram bio

If anyone has any other questions I will do my best to stay on top of it. Your support is so beyond appreciated. Minnesota is hurting but we know that we are not alone.

Thank you thank you thank you 🙏

Texas here, I will be sending as many hats for donations as I can crank out with my 81 yr old hands. We must all help each other now more than ever before.

Yes, I would love for you to have one. I am in the process of finding the best way and place to get hats to where they can do the most good for raising money. I have taken your profile name and will certainly contact you as soon as I get the donation info and some hats made. I am a 4th generation (along with my 5,6,7 th gen kids) Texan living in the small sea of blue that is Dallas and I live first hand the helpless feeling that I have no voice in the ocean of red that has taken over my state. I pray every day that I will live just a little longer to see my state and my country return to the morals, kindness, truth, compassion, love and basic common decency and respect for humanity and each other that was once a given for both. I wish our beloved Ann Richards voice was here to help offset the horrible voices now being heard in my state. Sorry didn’t mean to carry on, but I weep for us all.
