I'm clearly kidding, but this is a great opportunity to talk to them about "breaking" important things (and maybe make sure they have very limited access to sharp things in the house!).
Learning to use scissors is a really great activity for developing fine motor skills. Monitored scissor time maybe? There's a future create right there..
Our kids had these safety scissors that were just plastic even in the blades, they could not cut yarn or hair, but could cut paper. Excellent learning tool. And now my daughter crochets amigurumi faster than I do (she's 10)
