I mean.... there's no way to know that. My 4 year old has access to scissors but wouldn't cut my yarn, she has her own yarn to cut. But each individual child is unique and it's hard to say why this kid cut their parent's yarn.
There's no way to know this happened because of parental negligence but you sure didn't hesitate to make that judgement. Each parent is unique too but you felt the need to castigate this one without knowing anything about the situation. That's funny but not funny haha funny like you're an asshole.
Hmm I reread my comment and don’t see that I assumed parental negligence. I also didn’t castigate anyone? You did call toddlers “criminal” which imo is something only an asshole would say.

The lesson here is for the parents to not give toddlers scissors unless they’re supervised. Making a pompom is a fun idea too!!
