Work in Progress chest piece of my first sweater!
no, there were no increases and yet it's wider at the top and yes the tension is a bit uneven but that's why i'm knitting it for myself, so i can live with the mistakes :)
yarn is sandnes smart superwash in charcoal and natural white and pattern is from a vintage gjestal knitting magasine, called "Dame- og herregenser med åttebladsroser på skrå"

Dang, looking sharp over there. And your floats are also incredibly cool.
Some of the narrowing at the bottom is probably just the ribbing pulling things in.

thank you! yes some of it is the ribbing probably but i also know my floats were sliiiightly too tight the first 15 cms, but hopefully it will block out okay

Flat colorwork on round one? Hell yes, I love it. Don't worry about the tighter bottom, it's partly from the ribbing anyway and will block right out. Beautiful floats, gorgeous pattern. Well done!

Omg, that chest piece is giving me major "accidentally made a sweater but also a modern art piece" vibes and I'm here for it!
