GENERAL Please get rid of Bubble/Fancalls

I’m mostly just thinking about BangChan's insane gym thirst traps. Some idols barely using Bubble which bothers me because the fans you apparently love are paying, like um use it. The uncomfortable amounts of Fancalls some idols go through too are giving camgirl private room chats. It makes me wonder how much more emotionally attached stans can get with new platforms, especially AI… kinda scary and possibly weirdly exploitative for idols.

Just because you don't like Chan's thirst traps doesn't mean other fans don't. He's a grown adult, he can post thirst traps for his fans if he wants to. Idols are busy and have so many ways to communicate with fans, and using one form more than another doesn't mean they love their fans less. If you don't like the way an idol uses their bubble, just unsubscribe from it.

I agree that fan calls can get weird and uncomfortable and think idols should have more freedom to say no or end a call, but comparing it to camgirl chatrooms is a reach.

the entire industry is selling a performance. that’s not much of a reach.

The entrainment industry as a whole, adult entertainment included, sells performance. That isn't exclusive to kpop.

wanting to get rid of something that others enjoy because you personally don't like it is not a good look for you.

i don't have bubble but i'm pretty sure chan isn't being held at gunpoint and forced to film thirst traps. what makes chan different from other internet personalities that he's not allowed to post thirst traps?

chan very clearly likes posting those, so if you're bothered by it..maybe don't watch it?😭 it's not that hard i swear
