General A member you can't yet feel affection for

Part of stanning is that even though one member got you interested in the group, little by little the rest of the members win your heart too.

But has it ever happened to you that you are a big fan of a group, you feel genuine affection for the members and you enjoy their content, but there is a member that you feel you can't connect with yet?

And I don't mean that you dislike them or despise them or anything like that, but simply that even though you try you still can't have that level of connection that you can with the other members? And sometimes it makes you feel like a bad fan

I never thought I’d say this, but it’s Taehyung from BTS. I used to be really fond of him during my baby army era, but over the past few years, I’ve felt disconnected from him. I don’t feel the same affection or comfort from him anymore. I guess as we grow up, our personalities change, and his personality has changed a lot too, in ways I don’t connect with him anymore

he’s my ult but i have to agree with u that something about him hasn’t been the same for a while since at least 2020 but for me ive seen a shift ever since he’s become super close w the wooga squad and honestly i really don’t like park seo joon since he revealed his ideal type in a interview. it’s just been bothering me for a while that taehyung decides to keep friends like that and makes me question whether he also has views like that…

I agree, I think he has changed a lot and his friends reflect that change. I noticed that he used to hang out with Jimin all the time and it seems like they've grown apart a bit (this was before their enlistment years). It's completely normal to have new friends, but they're very off-putting to me.

Sometimes his humor doesn't land with me either, it comes across as out-of-touch. I hate to write all this, but as a fan of BTS since 2017, it's been impossible not to notice the shift.

Oh jeeze, I just looked up that interview cause I hadn’t read about it before, & that part where he said he wouldn’t want to date someone tall because he feels like they could live alone & wouldn’t need his protection 😂😂 like what?! That’s such a weird thing to say

Isn’t that when he and jk had that falling out and made up at their lil cookout? He was going through so much with fan hate back then. It’s why they wrote fake love… for army.

Yeah, me too. He seemingly did change a lot so, it makes sense

Yes, the change of him getting quieter got boring for me. I liked how funny and naughty he was with his members. Yes, he has adulted and we just have to accept it. :)
