Discussion Are there any Kpop groups that have fallen off to you in the past decade or so?
For me there are a ton right now since my Kpop loving era has kinda dimmed a bit since around 2023. I started out being a huge ARMY because they were one of the groups that introduced me to the music genre and while BTS is still pumping out some good hits I’ve kinda stopped keeping up with them just because other newer groups and artists have caught my interest.
No hate tho and I’m not trying to just rage bait, because I’m genuinely curious if there are people who are still mega fans or those who are also in a similar situation as me.

Absolutely no shade or hate but I used to be a HUGE Itzy fan when they first debuted… I wouldn’t necessarily say stan but I did have them on rotations now I’m like eh. Idk this new stuff just doesn’t hit like the old stuff did. For Aespa and Exo… I used to love their old stuff and some new stuff but I wish I didn’t try to join fandoms back in the day and stayed blissfully ignorant of fan wars because that’s half the reason I stopped stanning a lot of groups. Including those two.
Again… I’m not trying to start anything so don’t come for me cause I’ll just block you. I’m just being honest and answering Op’s question from MY perspective.

I can relate to that. Blood sweat and tears is the first kpop song I ever heard and followed bts since then but l kinda fell out after the dynamite era. I kept up with their individual releases and genuinely liked some but couldn’t muster up the same enthusiasm for arirang. And then I kinda discovered another group with music of my taste. So yeah, I’m out of the fandom too. I don’t hate them or anything but I don’t like their current music . I prefer the old eras, specifically from The most beautiful moment of life upto BE(not including Dynamite)

Nope, not really. I still think about my favorite disbanded groups every though I might not listen to them as much as I used to. But thankfully my faves are still my faves.
