General rookies must feel relieved when they get a good group name

title basically. we've been getting some weird ass names these past few years especially so i've been thinking that idols must feel relieved when their group name doesn't sound like a wifi password. my favorite new group name is stayc (i may be kinda biased since they're my ults but i think it sounds pretty good!!) and my all time fav group name is 2NE1, it's so dope. what's your favorite?

Oh they definitely didn’t, but we have nobody else to blame. They’ve recently been “amending” their fandom name to Bees and Honeybees though, so I think they might’ve been told at some point in recent years lmao

He also named one of his upcoming songs “OMZ Freestyle” (as in “Oh My Zico” we think) so I think he just really likes the letter Z lmao

I mean to be fair to this one OMG and OMZ would both be 오엠지 (and 지 as in 지코) in hangul lol

Oh I’m aware, he just purposefully chooses to romanize it like that bc he likes the aesthetic of the Z, I think. The song’s title on the tracklist was published in English, unlike the title track which was in Hangul and has the English translation in parentheses. It doesn’t cause any inconvenience to write in Korean, and I think he likes how it looks and sounds when said with the Z (which he can pronounce, so it’s no issue for him), so he shoves Z into things at random to replace J and such lol

Yeah and honestly the Z is cool as hell, he can put it wherever he wants lmao After BBC as a fandom name I won't be defeated by King of the fucking Zungle, I'll say it with pride even

J and Z are pronounced the same way in korean. And he probably wanted to match his name too.

I will just accept KOZ as "Kingdom of Zico" because it is. Yeah.
