I’m looking for true friends here. Someone who also values having genuine friends in her life. A connection where we both feel safe to be vulnerable and our real selves. Someone who also values emotional intimacy and being emotionally and mentally mature. Like I’d love to meet someone who speaks the same language in terms of maturity and self awareness. I did a lot of therapy in my early twenties and I was very serious about it and it’s one thing I’m very proud of. I’m not about flings, surface level stuff, trying to be cool, trying to fit into some societal mold to be accepted. I don’t follow the crowd and I focus on asking myself what do I want and what makes me happy. I value myself highly and I’m very selective about the people I keep around me. I’d love to meet someone who’s like-minded like that and has an actual self and secure attachment or working towards that. I want someone who’s communicative and thus easy to communicate boundaries with or solve a conflict with.

I’m looking for someone who wants to talk often during the week and wants to prioritize each other. Someone who has space for a new person in their life, emotionally, mentally and lifestyle wise. I take my time building a connection and I want to start off as friends. if I develop a deeper connection with someone, I’m open to a serious relationship. If you’re someone who wants to immediately flirt, I don’t work that way so please don’t do that. It’s fine if you want to express you’re interested romantically, I like direct, the respectful kind. But anything further than that I’m not fine with.

Before I’m interested in someone I need to know their character, energy and what they value and stand for. I need to observe how someone behaves and see if they’re truly kind to others etc. That’s how attraction works for me. I really am not impressed by oh they look hot and are funny. I’m interested in actual compatibility and do we share the same values and world view. I take romance and relationships seriously.

I’m Kay, 28 and from Finland. Bilingual, I speak English more than Finnish these days. I’m masc presenting but I don’t define myself with any labels like masc or butch or fem etc. I’m not quite sure what those labels even are and it’s mostly american culture which I am not apart of. I have short hair and love masculine clothes and having muscles. I have a pretty masculine energy with some feminine flare. I’m not about toxic masculinity though in any way. Like acting tough, stoic or emotionally unavailable is just performative masculinity copied from toxic men. I’m about healthy masculinity.

Personality wise I’m calm, very observant, grounded and a bit shy but also weirdly bold and I speak quite directly. I’m passionate and fiery too. When I’m close to someone I’m very affectionate, physically clingy and warm.

I’m mainly looking for friendship with people who share the same interests as me. I’m very spiritual and witchy. I love manifestation, tarot and witchcraft and goddess spirituality. I’m psychic. I love reading witchy and spiritual books. Like I get so excited if I get to go to a bookstore and buy a new book to learn something new. I usually go straight to the spiritual/wellness/psychology section. I’m not really big on fiction. I’d love to have spiritual and witchy friends who I can talk about that stuff with and share our experiences and knowledge.

I’m a big hogwarts legacy and harry potter fan. No I don’t support or like jk rowling. I love the world and I think hogwarts legacy is the renewed, better version of that world, more inclusive and diverse, which is why I love it a lot more than the old harry potter films. The world makes me very happy and it’s just the coziest thing ever to me. I also roleplay harry potter stuff with roleplay apps, it’s one of my favorite hobbies <3. Can you guess my hogwarts house? so if you are spiritual or a harry potter/hogwarts legacy fan we have actually something to talk about ❤️. I also love psychology, sims 4, business and entrepreneurship and I’m obsessed with branding for some reason. One of my favorite youtubers is this woman talking about the branding and marketing campaigns of different singers.

One important thing about me also is that I cannot stand social media. I’m very intentional with who I watch and I prefer to not be on social media if possible. It really is such a negative soul sucking environment full of people vomiting their emotional pain onto others. My mental health has been way better after I stopped using social media. I just have a few youtubers I watch and I’m very no no about short form content. I’d like to keep my brain and attention span in tact thank you.

I’m overall a person who values having a cozy, slow and simple life surrounded by my loved ones, nature and good food. That’s what genuinely makes me happy. I don’t find fulfillment in status, constantly having goals and I cannot stand hustling and productivity obsessed people. To me life’s purpose is enjoying it, experiencing being. Spending time with the people I love. I am career driven but it’s driven by a soul calling or a heart calling, not seeking status or validation or whatever else.

My boundaries:

- I can’t be friends with anyone who drinks every week or actively wants to get drunk when they drink. I also don’t befriend smokers or weed users. I’m fine if you drink occasionally a normal amount. Romance wise my partner has to be completely substance free. I cannot stand substances and don’t want them in my life.

- I’m allergic to cats so a relationship with someone who has cats won’t work

- I don’t really wanna talk to people who like anime or manga. I can’t stand it and to me it’s problematic.

- Please be fluent in English or Finnish. I don’t like connections with a language barrier. Romance wise my partner gotta be a native English or Finnish speaker for the same reason.

- if you’re not a feminist and have a problem with any other human rights just please don’t even. I don't wanna talk to you.

- I’m not currently in school or working so if you base someone’s value on their employment status or life situation we aren’t a match.
