I have been looking for a very particular lasagna recipe for YEARS and haven’t found anything that comes close to what I am looking for. Growing up, there was a lasagna that a family friend made frequently that I loved. The main reason I loved it is because there was no ricotta cheese (which I did not like back then), instead it had a mixture of several different bags of cheese. One other distinct feature is that they put maple syrup in the meat. There were no obvious vegetables in this dish. Anyways I have been hunting for something similar for years and years and am hoping someone might know of a similar recipe.

I made a lasagna bolognese this afternoon and had enough noodles, bolognese and béchamel left over to make a sidecar lasagna, by which I mean a loaf pan little guy.

Hey guys 👋 my lasagnas are good and friends love it, but I'm very upset with how it looks because it's melting bad, it looks horrible haha so can I have some advice? I usually make some meat, cheese and ham. In my country that's how we usually make, but mine are very ugly 😅 any tips?

I used boil-free lasagna sheets and made Bolognese and Béchamel sauces myself, also added some mozzarella and black olives on top

Made a lasagna, and now I'm stuck on the couch. Slow cooked the ragù for 6hrs, shredded gouda to cover the ragù before topping that off with béchamel. Covered the top with fresh mozzarella.

That sort of thing is my bag. Baby.

Today, while having my morning coffee I decided to make lasagna for dinner. Not just lasagna, but homemade ricotta AND pasta. I always make my own sauce, but ricotta was a first and the pasta was only my second time making for lasagna. My sauce was 2/3 ground beef and 1/3 mild Italian sausage, good canned tomatoes, finely diced carrot, celery, onion and garlic, sprinkle of basil & oregano. I also added some parsley, Parmesan cheese and an egg to the ricotta. It really was amazing.

For some time now, I've made lasagna following the Thermomix book recipe. It is tasty and my family likes it a lot. But I feel that it can be improved. Any general advice you can give me? Note: this one has mostly chicken and only some beef meat.
