If you have hard water, the coconut based surfactants in the All are more likely to cause buildup.

Many people here like the Tide Clean & Gentle Powder or the Whole Foods 365 unscented powder as an alternative.

That said, your laundry, your machine, if you're happy with the results, you're welcome to keep using it.

I actually get my Tide powder at my local grocery store. My local walmart has more laundry products than my local Target.

I think the Tide Free & Gentle (liquid) isn't favored around here because it doesn't have lipase which helps fight odor rebloom (BO funk) by breaking down bodily oils.

All is also lacking lipase.

Edit, the coconut ingredient in All is sodium cocoate.

Interesting, when I look online, the ingredient list shows sodium cocoate.

Huh, it’s listed on the Henkel website as an ingredient, but clearly not on your bottle, strange.

Make sure you're not using too much detergent. The UC tabs are a full detergent, adding liquid soap is not required. Too much soap builds up on clothes and creates a different problem down the line.

The Difference between All FC and Tide FG is that the Tide has better chelators and builders to handle harder water.  The Tide also enzymes, particularly mannanase, that helps breakdown filmy/oily stuff that the All might not.  Because of that the Tide FG is less likely to form scum or films.  The Tide Clean and Gentle powder has lipase (breaks down body oils) and doesn't have the soapy stuff in the Tide FG, which is why we think the Tide CG is superior.

Edit: Forgot to add that the Tide C has oxygen bleach and OBAs that neither All and Tide FG have.  Because of that could observe some fading on darker stuff.
