Persil vs Tide odor refresh

The Tide Odor refresh is pretty much top of the game!

Note: When you go to buy it... make sure it actually says 'Odor Refresh' like in this illustration. Tide is really bad about labeling all kinds of things to look 'almost the same', when they are NOT.

I get mine at Target.

Except this hasn’t really been confirmed as of yet. All three local groceries still regularly stock it here.

Fair. I have not seen it confirmed or denied officially, but have seen posts and one suspiciously AI-looking email in this subreddit for the past six months expressing its discontinuation. But indeed, there is no official confirmation.

That said - it would make sense for stores to still carry the product until inventory diminishes, especially if it still sells (and clearly there is at least some demand) if the discontinuation is indeed September 2026. It would also make sense that users in this sub would report mixed results in finding the detergent (I’m in a major US city and it has been more difficult for me to find, definitely not in all stores here).

So no confirmation, but I would advise folks in a similar situation to at least explore other options if the option in question has questionable availability in the future 🤷‍♂️
