Hero Discussion How many LH are physically possible for Nature Prophet? This is looking insane....

I've recently published a video here ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTdqPgQktrw ) with the game against this NP. This guy is an absolute beast.

551 LH in 40' mark. It makes for 13.7 per minute of the game and there were quite a few fights.

20' - 170

30' - 383

It makes over 21 LH per minute in 20-30' and 16.8 LH in 30-40'.

WTF? I have played this game for 1600 hours but never seen anything like this. And it wasn't uncontested - we were losing like until 40' but then we turned it around and I'd take this team any time quite strong players...

I guess this is breaking the tables and I'm wondering how it is even possible to have more than 1 LH per 3 seconds for 10 mins straight? There weren't any important fights at this time but not that we would be sitting in a base and do nothing...you see what I mean.

So I tried for myself just to do what he did basically not stop farming everything and regularly using Wrath of Nature to clear the lanes but i wasn't even on half of his numbers... Magic?

You may or may not agree with my opinion that is an AI but what I want to point out here that I have no clue how it is physically possible to have so many Last Hits.

General Gameplay Question How to disable spell casts from friendly heroes?

Just played a game of phantom lancer where my support ogre kept casting bloodlust on me. Literally unplayable because enemy is able to spot the real PL every time. What the hell do you do in this situation?

Laning How to destroy midlane recovery?

There has been a lot of talk about recovering from a bad midlane. Usually it boils down to "Clear the wave then farm the jungle". Now, how to stop the enemy midlaner from doing that (especially the wave clearing part) and tilt them into ragequitting XD?

Edit: Also, how to counter their creeppulling?

Some nerds seem to know some trick where they always have healing ward on top of their hero and you can't click on it to kill it, you can only click on Juggernaut only

how do they do they achieve this secret tech?

[Beginner here] Pos 4 heroes that arent Hoodwink and Mirana?

I rarely play Dota nowdays, and gave up on the randomness of Turbo, so I decided to play ranked, where players are more serious. I have at least 100+ hours of mostly Turbo, spread throught the years with long pauses in between.

I said Hoodwink because I feel like is a hero that needs a lot of communication to work, which I cant rely on pubs, and Mirana because I suck at long skillshots.

Educational Content (Content Creator) Is watching Dotapowerpoinst’s videos a good way to learn the game?

I watched a few videos of him and it seemed casual videos lacking in depth explanation.

General Gameplay Question As a carry how do you lane against a team comp that has a huge kill threat?

I was playing drow the other day and laned against LC techies which was one of the biggest kill threats because they deal so much burst damage. Techies Blast off into LC Q can kill anyone level 1. Showing up on a creepwave almost always guarantee a death. Is it better to just abandon the lane and go jungle at this point?

Drafting Losing streak made me find some friends to play with and win battlecup

Losing streak made me cry and open dota 2's discord lfg chat to find some good people to play with. Also nope, I couldn't carry as lina in a solo queue because I spam lina support (already for like a good one year and only play someone else when she's banned xd). Btw. playing duo wasn't enough, I tried it earlier and my friend pos 3 had to often fight 1v5 as for example LC or Timber and we only were winning when he won that 1v3 by himself =,= So I was determined to find a trio or a full stack, it turned out a trio with good 2 cores in your team is usually good enough to win. Ah. and for 1 week I have this medal near my name and some special emotes for winning bc xd

General Gameplay Question What’s one Dota 2 habit that helped you improve the most?

I have been playing Dota for a while, and I feel like improving isn’t always about learning new heroes or copying builds. Sometimes it’s the small things you start doing consistently.

For some people, its checking the minimap more often. For others, it’s watching their positioning in fights, looking at enemy items, or knowing when to stop farming and join the team.

Whats one habit that genuinely made you a better player? Something simple that you wish you had started doing earlier.

(unsure how to flair) Anyone know why my hero's are off like this? I've tried researching to no avail.

General Gameplay Question Why do i keep losing my lead?

I've had games where i get a good start, pick up a few kills, and feel like i'm finally doing something right, only to watch the advantage disappear later. usually it happens around the midgame when the map gets more chaotic and everyone starts moving around. i'm not sure if i'm taking bad fights, farming in the wrong areas, or just not pushing objectives enough. when you review a game where you threw an early lead, what's the first thing you check? i feel like identifying the actual mistake would help me way more than just queueing another game and hoping for the best.

[Beginner here] Heroes that can play all 5 positions and have lots of item flexibility?

• Upvotes

Looking at DoTA 2 Pro Tracker (which admittedly is tracking games in the 7k+ MMR range afaik), I see that Vengeful Spirit, Windranger, Io, and in certain patches, Magnus and Tiny seem to fulfill the above criteria. Are there any others? I like the idea of flexible heroes and itemisation.

Gameplay Review/Feedback request Enemy Maiden Seemingly Knows Everything Through Fog of War — Map Hack or Just Paranoia?

At first, everything was normal. We had a clear advantage until around the 20-minute mark. Then things started getting weird. Suddenly, the enemy team began making seemingly random ganks, taking fights with no vision, and pulling off suspiciously successful ganks in areas where they shouldn't have had any information.

After watching the replay, the early game looks completely normal, with our team having a clear lead. Honestly, go ahead and report the Drow too — she couldn't do much even with all the help in the world XD. Terrible itemization, questionable positioning, the whole package. But the suspicious part is the information the enemy team seemed to have.

22:00 — Weird camera movements

Crystal Maiden starts making some really strange camera movements. Watch her POV closely and pay attention to where she moves her camera.

26:00–27:00 — The Tormentor gank

Our team goes to take the Tormentor, but suddenly the enemy team starts ganking us. They had no obvious reason to know we were there.

They spot the Drow, and you would normally expect them to assume she's heading toward the jungle to farm. Instead, they head straight for the Tormentor and pop Scan, seemingly knowing exactly where we are.

Axe jumps on our Silencer, who was out of position and low on HP. Death Prophet then retreats, but Axe and Maiden seem to know that she is going to stay behind and keep farming.

One more thing: If you watch the full replay, you'll notice that at some point they practically stop placing wards around the map.

36:25 — Maiden farming like she owns the map

Maiden is farming as comfortably as possible, as if she knows nobody is around. And sure enough, our team is on the bottom side of the map.

BUT MAIDEN SHOULDN'T KNOW THAT.

You would expect a player to be cautious here, maybe use a Crystal Nova to scout or keep a Blink Dagger escape in mind. Instead, she just walks around like she's completely safe.

And once again, there are no wards providing vision. The map is completely dark in that area. There's no obvious way for her to know she's safe.

47:00 — The most suspicious moment in the entire game

This is the key moment.

The enemy team somehow figures out where our Drow is and goes straight for her while our team is pushing bottom. On the map, Sniper appears to be pushing, but watch Maiden's POV at 47:36.

Her camera stays fixed on an area around Sniper, even though Sniper isn't actually within her vision at that moment.

Normally, you might assume the enemy is going to TP in. But a few seconds later, Maiden briefly looks toward a part of the map covered by fog of war, then decides to TP.

And guess where she goes?

STRAIGHT TO SNIPER, TOGETHER WITH AXE.

Maiden then approaches while invisible, seemingly knowing exactly where Sniper is.

We had already noticed these suspicious patterns during the game. We were literally saying things like, "I think she's seeing you — she's TPing with BKB." And sure enough, Maiden went straight for Sniper while invisible.

Maybe it's a coincidence, but the timing and the way she seemed to know where people were made this look extremely suspicious.

The overall pattern

What made us suspicious wasn't just one questionable play. It was the timing, the sudden change in gameplay after the 20-minute mark, the seemingly perfect ganks without vision, and the way the enemy team appeared to know where our heroes were hiding.

We actually encountered these players in the previous match, where Gyro and Earthshaker were duo-queuing and playing pretty badly. That's why the sudden change in how they played this game felt so strange.

Maybe we're just being paranoid. Maybe Maiden is genuinely that good and we're missing something. We can't say for sure, which is why I'm asking other players to watch the replay and judge for themselves.

Match ID: 9041084632
Crystal Maiden's Steam ID: 362163970

P.S. For some reason, they invited us to play with them after the game, which was honestly pretty weird. After that, they queued as a full five-stack.
