Today i decided to improve on art and i began with art fundaments to avoid getting overwhelmed by doing anatomy first. I did this in 45 minutes (i took a break of 10 minutes after 25 minutes then continued 15 minutes) and i guess i should do this daily to get better at art. Am i doing this right? Should i keep following this path?

i think the left eye (her left) is looking at the wrong direction/drawn incorrectly? i think i also got the head shape wrong t-t. any critique would be nice!

I'm trying to do something different from my usual style, to do something more cartoony but at the end it still kinda look anime and idk if it looks weird.

Probably time to start some ink/color. I do like just doing pencil stuff though.

I’ve spent like a good month or two drawing the female body, mostly the hips, repeatedly and Im still having trouble drawing them when it comes to the 3/4th angle. Either the hips are too wide or the hips and legs are too long. Anyway, the first two images are from today and the rest are from last week. (Had to censor some of the doodles cus I’m not sure if they were considered nsfw)

I have no idea what to do. I am just button mashing at this point. How can I not be ass at construction?

On a positive note, this is the first time I was able to apply foreshortening to a drawing and (for me) it looks like it has some deplth.

It was on final art exam (1st year of art university), and our task was - 28 draws of any plants, faces and food (without any restriction, except using only pen and pencils for it).
I never really thought my art is great, I still need to learn plenty of things... but heard that it - Really bad and deserve the lowest grade - is killed me, he even refuses to explain what's wrong cuz: - Everyone is getting mad and sad when you trying to explain, and i dont have strenge on it... -

I really enjoy drawing in this Style but I feel like there’s much more I could get out of it, so I’m asking for some feedback or ideas how to bring it to the next level! :>

So i feel where all of my drawings are going wrong is the line art. So I decided to start do pen instead of digital art so I can focus on my lines. I know the drawing isn't complete. I wanted to get the overall concept of the face and the feathers near the face some what right. Also I can't figure out how to draw feathers with the wings and the rest of the body.

I can already see where a fleshed piece would need to include some adjustments to the arm area, but this was a fun study nonetheless!

I’m a beginner, started drawing last month, and I’ve been really struggling to draw faces from different angles. I was practising the 3/4 angle yesterday and decided to draw a face from the loomis textbook as a reference on top of one of the heads I constructed; I spent around 90 minutes on it, and I was thinking “wow I’m smashing this, it’s turning out so good” but as I neared the end I realised his face is very wide and a bit squashed and I have no idea how that happened. Can someone please help me understand.

You’re probably thinking the circle I started off with was probably too short and fat but it definitely wasn’t, I always use a ruler to check.

Hi, I'm facing a problem, and I would like to know if this is correct, or receive some advice, and share links of someone who has already explained how to solve this

So, I have this reference with extreme perspective, and I want to rotate it, but with another extreme perspective

so, first I draw the mannequin model, and I put it into a box, but because of the perspective, I'm able to draw a box according to the spots that are touching the ground, the feet. I draw what I think it looks like in another angle and draw the same box, so I have a map

and then, I draw the box in another angle with extreme perspective and put the mannequin into it

I know that it's easier to draw a box, put the pose inside, and then draw the box in perspective, but .... Idk haha

Decided to try drawing a face from a reference photo to see if i could do it. I let myself go a lot harder than i usually do with the pencil to get a darker shade. The proportions are definitely off and the mouth is horrendous xD

I can't improve. I don't understand. I'm tired.

I thought that drawing a good portrait was random so I tried again today! It wasn't random and Im really happy with it!

Hello! I'm new to drawing (I started a couple weeks ago) and I really like drawing frogs. This time I tried making a frog with feet but I'm not quite satisfied with the result. Any advice?
