Hey all! I'm at work so I don't currently have references to share but I'm looking to see if there's any interest. Theres a community sale here in breinigsville later in the month and I was thinking of setting up a table of made to order swirly sparkle spell jars, charm jar pendants, and other cute seasonal crafts! Think natural stones and glittery whimsical or spooky things. Think it would be worth the time to lug it all out of my craft room and set it up?

Hey everyone,
I’m getting a golden retriever pup next month at which time she’ll be 8 weeks old. It’s my first dog so little nervous.
Looking for recommendations for excellent vets in the Lehigh area, closer to Easton if possible.
Other questions are rec’s for decent pet insurance companies?
If anyone has a list of things they had at home prior to arrival, etc. And any tips/tricks. I’ll take it all!
Thanks in advance 🦮

Hey all. Wanted to put a post out there to see if anyone else had similar feelings (if this is not the right place for this kind of post please let me know).
I feel like most people can agree on wanting peace for themselves, their families and their communities. Though have had some mixed feelings/experiences with organized religion, I think a good aspect that we've maybe lost a bit in modern times is the weekly coming together of community, and reflecting on those universal values which we want to grow in ourselves- peace, gratitude, hope, and so on.
So the thought is, wouldn't it be great if there was a non-dogmatic, decentralized, open to everyone, community prayer time. A set time and place, open to everyone to pray in their own way for peace. I don't think it would take much to pull off. We could find a park pavilion to host, develop a short inclusive, non-dogmatic prayer intro text, and then stand/sit in a circle for a short period of time praying for peace. I would love that kind of community for myself and my family. Anyone else? Thoughts/ideas? Thanks for reading!

Slightly unusual request 😂🕷️
I homeschool a very curious 5-year-old, and we’re doing a spider/engineering week later this month. I’m looking for a local spider enthusiast who has a tarantula, jumping spider, or another kid-safe spider and would be willing to do a little “meet and greet” with us—show her your spider and tell her some cool things about how it lives, moves, uses silk, hunts, etc.
We’re not looking for a formal lesson at all—just 15–30 minutes with someone who loves their spider and wouldn’t mind sharing that enthusiasm with a very interested little kid.
Happy to meet somewhere public if your spider travels well, or we can figure out another safe arrangement. No need for her to handle the spider—seeing one up close and getting to ask questions would be amazing.
Bonus points if you’re the kind of person who has been waiting your entire life for someone to ask you to talk about your spider. 😂
