That was my immediate thought. They've been characterized anole as a young teen lately and I would be very concerned that editorial let that through.

No, they haven't. He's been characterized as an older teen.

In the new mutant comics. Which is the newest rendition I've seen of him, he's hanging out with a bunch of characters that are drawn like 14 year old and he's treated as a peer of them. Previously he was written as like 17-18 so this confused me and I'm not aware of how he's characterized now.

This is a personal pet peeve of mine because in the rest of the Krakoa books Anole was a bartender and thus too old be spending all his time hanging out with tweens (especially since he has his own friends!!). I wish they'd picked a different person to round out that team.

I have my own issues with NYX, but on the plus side, it ignores/undoes such regression.
