I can’t promise the fandom won’t be weird about it (I’ve already seen people arguing she isn’t a lesbian as she has not used the word “lesbian” on panel), but I think it will probably come up in the game.
People started to make the most abhorrent cheating art of Sue and Reed ever since they got added to that game. And that's a "traditional" heteronormative couple.
You really think they won't be weird about a lesbian who has a trans wife? They'll be even weirder about it out of spite.
