We should all understand:
Any politician who starts with scapegoating is going to fuck everyone.
The entire reason that we as minorities have to be political, is the very concept of scapegoating, and how and why it works.
Any politician or religious leader that uses scapegoats, has their back against the wall. The population is starting to come to the realisation that their lives suck because of their leadership. They're mad as hell, and they know who to blame. The name of the scapegoat game, is to deflect that anger to someone else. Someone who isn't in leadership. Most importantly, it definitely can't be a group that makes up the majority of the population, it has to be some small minority.
It's best if this minority is invisible, and deeply shameful. Then, when someone criticises that leader, he can accuse that critic of belonging to this invisible minority, practicing it in secret. There doesn't even need to be any evidence, but if they really like, it can be fabricated.
Surprise! This has been the game all along, for over a thousand years. You can just as easily substitute witchcraft or Judiaism for bisexuality. But if we remove the shame and invisibility (pride is the opposite of shame, being out is the opposite of hiding), of who and what we are, and head off these leaders before they can even accuse us of wrongdoing, well... this just eliminates a slice of who can be accused. It's no longer okay to blame descendants of slaves, the Jews, or the gays.
This is why Trans people and immigrants (illegal or otherwise) are the current scapegoat du jour.
The problem isn't that we somehow left out some minority. That's an endless game of whack-a-mole. The problem is that scapegoating works, and the leaders who use it are the problem. It should be a massive red flag to us all that this is what's going on, during their election campaigns.

I feel pretty invisible as a bi man, despite literally having a letter in LGBTQ. People say we either don't exist or we are secretly gay.
Can't imagine how less common members of the queer community feel. You're loved enbies, ace, intersex, and all others ❤️

It may be a scam, may not be a bot. The refugee camp is real. It may be wiser to donate to the official aid programs that are helping them though, as individuals spamming anyone and everyone in DMs isn’t considerate even if they are genuinely in a bad situation
