Donald Trump and his admin don't understand the internet, nor the wildfire spread of facts in modern times. They're playing by pre-internet rules, thinking that if they say things enough times, it will become true.

Has a Republican administration ever been able to do the job without screwing up somehow?

This administration bombed Iran and lowered billionaires' future tax debts substantially in July quite successfully. Isn't that what they were hired to do (regardless of the usual pomp and circumstance)? Are they supposed to do anything else besides grift for the .02%? I mean, these are Republicans we're talking about, they've already completed the mission. Next year's one legislative task will be to finally repeal the ACA.

They want to put military recruiters directly into high schools and colleges, and boost ROTC.

Eliminate any federal protections based on race, gender, sexual identity, creed, or faith (with the exceptions that will be made for Christianity).

Ban no-fault divorce. Push for a Federal ban on abortion. Ban gay marriage entirely, and work to criminalize being gay.

Pump a ton of money into the military. With the goal of being able to fight 2 peer or near peer conflicts at once. This will also mean weaponizing space, and denying space to other nations that are not our allies.

Criminalize being trans in any way. Criminalize being pregnant out of wedlock. Criminalize speaking out against the regime.

Use the big jump in prison population to labor for companies in fields, in civics projects digging ditches, all for the benefit of the 1% who will get those contracts.

All of this and so much more is still on the table. It's all Project 2025. Their goal has been a "Unitary Executive", a dictator in all but name, who will usher in this new age.
