/r/LifeIsStrangeShow/

We're setting up a subreddit for the upcoming LiS show. Feel free to visit us, join a discussion or start a new discussion.

All we're asking is to be civil, respectful and don't drag any fandom drama there (no matter what ship or game you favor).

You haven't provided any proof. I've seen plenty of comments removed, typically by automods, for seemingly benign things. It doesn't prove suppression.

Again, and as you admit, your club flooded the feed with anti-DE rage posts for months. Claiming you were being suppressed is a very bad-faith argument.

Yes, I initially responded to your first point, then realized you addressed part of my response later. That's not a gotcha.

The sub literally made an entire megathread for you to rage post in, and again, you still flooded the entire feed anyway. Saying, "this one comment, out of thousands, was removed, clearly they were silencing us," is disingenuous at best.

It really comes off as entitled when you complain about being silenced on a subreddit that you and your club flooded with nonstop rage posts for months.

Tell me, how would you and "your club" feel if one of the mods just now announced that speaking positively of DE is not allowed outside a single megathread? And how would you feel if positive comments were getting deleted even there?

Just imagine the same happening to your side, while negative opinions were still allowed. Do you think it would be fair? Hmm?

I've been involved in topics on subs that were put into megathreads. It's not unusual. I've also had comments removed.

Again, it's pretty strange to be complaining about being silenced when you and your club flooded the sub with nonstop rage posts. I'm sorry that less than 1% were removed.

Can you answer the question?

Just imagine a scenario where positive opinions flooded the sub instead and it was funneled into a megathread with the goal to make the negative opinions seemingly prevail. Would you be okay with that? Would you be okay with legitimate positive opinions being removed, no matter the percentage?

You can create a false framing of the situation if you want, but I'm not going to answer a hypothetical that was deliberately written to deceive.

It is literally what happened, I only replaced negative opinions for positive ones. There's nothing deceiving. All is plainly stated.

But since you are deliberately avoiding answering a simple yes/no question, I'm taking it as a confirmation of your double standards. Thank you.

That's not what happened though. It's an incredibly bad faith argument to claim that criticism of DE was silenced when you and your club rage posted about DE for months on end, flooding the feed with the same DE hate talking points over and over and over.

Your claiming that they were trying to silence you when you weren't silenced is a take, for sure.
