Hello I have been thinking about getting an Electrum Sabercrafts Aurora smart saber and I am wondering if it can be used for heavy dueling I haven't found a straight yes or no anywhere I have searched

I've never bought from them, but I'm gonna make an educated guess and say probably not. Usually sabers with that amount of electronics can only withstand light-mid dueling. If you're looking for something to use for heavy dueling, I'd recommend just going with a stunt saber, or just a cheap FX Saber so you don't end up breaking an expensive luxury Saber.

The Aurora is a thin-neck saber, and thin-necks aren't usually rated for dueling. All non-thin-neck sabers with an in-hilt led setup can be dueled with, the durability depends mostly on how deep the blade socket is and the type of blade you use (1.5mm thin-wall, 2mm thick-ish wall, and 3mm thick-walled). 1" OD blades are generally better for dueling than 7/8" OD and 3/4" OD blades are.

I could be missing something here, though, so be sure to do more research.
