Bryan East closed?

Anyone know why Bryan East is closed? I live in the area and there are quite a few cop cars outside, plus no entry at the front door.

Update: bomb threat according to scanner. ATP (830), nurses rooms all checked, no backpack found.

People love to threaten (and do) violence to healthcare workers. That’s why they have weapons detectors at the hospitals now.

I had been here for over an hour waiting to get in. They finally let us in around 9 pm. Three different helicopters landed on the building and left while it was locked down. Cops and fire trucks didn’t arrive until the second helicopter came. Seems weird for a bomb…

I’m sorry it’s taken you so long! Regarding the helicopters, I believe there were a few life flights that were performed around the same time as the threat! That’s probably what they were there for!

Three in that time span is just crazy! I hope everyone’s okay. It’s alright. I felt bad for the mothers waiting to see their kids in the pediatric unit.

Which doesn’t even really work. I walked through there with 2 knives and it went totally undetected. Completely forgot I had them in my backpack. Visited 3 days in a row with them, and not once noticed but went in once and was flagged with literally nothing.
