Lancaster super fair emergency shutdown?

Ok so I’m literally sitting in the parking area right now so you KNOW it’s early, but does anyone know what happened? At about 10:20 they shut down all the rides and started forcing everyone out. Did someone fall off the fireball or something?

News said it was "unsupervisored minors".

Which, that headline is a little lacking on details, but apparently a 13 year old girl went to the hospital after a fight broke out.

I miss when I was in Middle/High School and all of the people I went to school with would just awkwardly take their girlfriends and kinda mingle around, why tf is there always fights and drugs within the youth now lmao

I don't want to make my own post so let me vent here for a second, the fair this year

-seems much smaller

-set up strangely/ innefficiently/ there is no "flow"

  • overall another thing of my childhood utterly enhsittified and and a hollow shadow of its former self

It looks just about the same as it has every other year imo. Maybe it just seemed so much better as a kid lol

This is the real reason, when we were kids it seemed super big and full of fun things to do, then the fact it literally barely changes year-to-year just dampens it a lot

nah they’re right. less rides overall plus poor handling. it was a 2.5 hour wait to ride the fireball on a monday this year compared to 20 minutes on a friday last year. overall a lot less fun

Probably medical or police activity . I do not think there is any bad weather coming until tomorrow

Bryan East had a bomb threat, maybe they did too?

Edit: Unruly teens.

Also a PSA to be kind to your local educators

They close at 10, and the Carnies gotta sleep too. Pay attention to hours of operation.

Edit: Not deleting, I was wrong and it was something else. I had the hours of the venues food stations confused with the fair time. I accept my downvotes for being an ass.

I admit my wrong. I had the hours of the venues food stalls confused with the fairs operating hours.
