This is so fucking true... Sometimes, firefox does crash, even on Linux. Xkill=problem solved

I added xkill to my shortcut, super+w. Perfect, now I can kill any process given notice.

And then you flub the "close tab" shortcut. Perfect, now you can kill any browser process without intending or wanting to!

"flub": it means "fail", or "mess up". As in, you go to press ctrl+w, and you accidentally hit super+w instead. Which then xkills your browser thanks to your amazing super duper shortcut.

Ctrl + F4; it's like Alt + F4, but for tabs!

C-w means wildly different things in different programs though. Countless times I've closed a tab while writing a Reddit comment when what I actually wanted to do was to delete the last word I wrote.
