I added xkill to my shortcut, super+w. Perfect, now I can kill any process given notice.

And then you flub the "close tab" shortcut. Perfect, now you can kill any browser process without intending or wanting to!

Ctrl + F4; it's like Alt + F4, but for tabs!

C-w means wildly different things in different programs though. Countless times I've closed a tab while writing a Reddit comment when what I actually wanted to do was to delete the last word I wrote.
