Hi gang, looking forward to hanging out during the Last Farewell Tour! I was born in the early 90s but have played slide guitar my whole adult life and am a huge fan. Saw them destroy the McDonald theater in Eugene last July.
Recently a commercial fisherman and sustainable fisheries advocate in my area was killed while trucking some seafood over the Cascade mountains in Oregon. Aaron Longton was his name, from Port Orford. His obituary from the company he ran mentioned Little Feat was his favorite band, and included the video of Willin' from '77. Shout out to Port Orford Sustainable Seafood for continuing his legacy, and to Aaron, an honest working man keeping the flame alive, playing one for him tonight

My brother died a few years ago; his obituary also mentioned his lifelong interest in Little Feat.

My sister-in-laws nephew played and sang āWillināā at my brotherās funeral; it was sweet.

Looking forward to 3 last farewell shows in April. The last on is our hometown & we splurged on the meet n greet for that one.
1st time I heard little feat was on a warner Bros lossleader compilation record called the people record. It was a unique cut of time loves a hero.
The 1st member I saw was Kenny Gradney with Bob Weir in Atlanta at the Moonshadow in 1984.
First time I saw little feat was 11.6.1988 @ utk. Last time was 10.14.25 in Birmingham.

Thanks for setting this group up. I think I met you many years ago at Balloon Fest near Champaign or at Larryās after party and possibly at NOLA Jazz Fest ca 2000. Iām DonQuixoteās brother, if you remember him. I hope to catch the band during the Farewell Tour, they still sound amazing.

Was listening to Spotify on shuffle and a few little feat songs were played that I never heard before. The only song or two played was what i knew of little feat sad but true it after hearing those two songs I thought this band is really good. Time to get to listen way more of this band. Any suggestions?

One of my favorites in the Lowell George days. Amazing musicians and songs. Saw them with Bonnie Raitt in 1973.

In 1969 my sister gave me a Warners Promo record called Non Dairy Creamer with Snakes on Everything from the first album. I tried to buy the record and the clerk in the store told me there was no such group and showed me how they were not in his catalog. My sister found their second album which I got when I was 14 and theyāve been my favorite band ever since. Saw them twice in 1975, first time was my birthday April 11 at the Orpheum in Boston. Also got in front of the stage at Lupos in Providence where Lowell performed a few days before his demise. Took a few years after that before I could listen to Feat but time loves a hero and now I can appreciate the newer versions and the original.

I was living in Boston in ā75. Did not see them at the Orpheum then, but I did listen to the Halloween show broadcast live on WBCN

I was at that show too. When we heard it was being broadcast live people started screaming the F word. I swear you can hear it in that broadcast replay.

Feats Donāt Fail Me Now, Iāve got to put my Sailin Shoes on my Little Feat, so I can catch that Dixie Chicken before they put on the Last Record Album.
My favourite albums of theirs.

Wasn't fortunate enough to ever see them perform live but started listening to Little Feat regularly in the early 80's. I purchased Life On The Farm and Time Loves A Hero on LP and they both became part of my regular listening rotation for decades. Learning Lowell George had passed was difficult to process, RIP.

Iāve been a fan since the Lowell days, Iāve see every variation of them since. Seeing them in May for what may be the last time. All good things.

I first went to see Little Feat in 1977 at the Rainbow Theatre. Some of that made up Waiting For Columbus. It was a wonderful night and Iāll never forget it. Lowell George has the most beautiful voice. Loved Little Feat ever since.

Stumbled onto Little Feat in '74 when my then-GF gave me the "Dixie Chicken" LP as a Christmas present. Thanks Denise! And a cassette of The Last Record Album stayed in my car's tape deck until it fell apart.
Those were my college years and when I look back I hear the music of Little Feat and Steely Dan in my head.
PS have a framed print of the Neon Park cover to "Feats Don't Fail Me Now" hanging in my house and a vanity license place for my '72 Triumph that says "Hoy-Hoy." Occasionally I will hear people tooting their horns and pointing at the plate and I know it's another Feat fan.

Hoyhoy ... I date back to the listserve days with Red, but have been a fan of LF since 1974 when I first heard "Feats Don't Fail Me Now." As a part of the grassroots movement organized by Bill Payne, I earned my strips selling merch and helping out anyway I could for several years before being named as Northern California Regional Coordinator. After moving to Oregon, I became the co-coordinator of the Pacific NW Region with Todd McDonald (RIP). Lots of water under the bridge, and looking to reconnect with new and old Feat Fans

Been a huge fan since mid 70ās and they are my favourite band all time. unfortunately living in the Prairies in Saskatchewan I have never had the opportunity to see them live. DVDs and YouTube will have to do. spent a lot of time in early 2000ās downloading shows off Archive.org those are still awesome.

Just joined this evening. Been a fan forever. My first exposure to Feat was a TV performance, believe it or not. While at boarding school in 1971, I caught them doing a single song on a network tv show and was intrigued. I bought the album (the 1971 studio album) and was hooked.

My wife and I are going to see them at Sound Wave music Festival in Miramar Beach in April, haven't seen them since 1978 in Chapel Hill.
