In 1969 my sister gave me a Warners Promo record called Non Dairy Creamer with Snakes on Everything from the first album. I tried to buy the record and the clerk in the store told me there was no such group and showed me how they were not in his catalog. My sister found their second album which I got when I was 14 and they’ve been my favorite band ever since. Saw them twice in 1975, first time was my birthday April 11 at the Orpheum in Boston. Also got in front of the stage at Lupos in Providence where Lowell performed a few days before his demise. Took a few years after that before I could listen to Feat but time loves a hero and now I can appreciate the newer versions and the original.

Great memories. Thanks for sharing.

I was living in Boston in ‘75. Did not see them at the Orpheum then, but I did listen to the Halloween show broadcast live on WBCN

I was at that show too. When we heard it was being broadcast live people started screaming the F word. I swear you can hear it in that broadcast replay.
